It was planned to once, but we just let it lie as it is out of respect for the dead. So what you’re seeing are just the Diablo equivalent of the Pokémon glitch we all know that used to be “Missing No.”, a similar and also non-existent Pokémon (or in this case, level) that was a result of bad memory glitching out the game files. As everyone knows, Diablo is just the same game remade over and over again, so it’s literally the same assets also being used again and again, albeit with better graphics cards rendering them in better detail. via bad pc memory, segmentation faults etc), sometimes all of the mobs and drops are replaced with these assets that never got removed. What people keep thinking is the cow level is based off the cow warrior assets that were originally developed for a purported cow level back in Diablo 1. there is no cow level As others have stated, you can open a Portal to Not the Cow Level by killing a Goblin and hoping it opens one instead of a Portal to The Vault. You may also want to replace your pc memory We’ve been over this countless times since the birth of Diablo and it keeps coming up occasionally when people’s game files get corrupted. The cow level is a troll as old as time and doesn’t exist.
